STUDENT PERFORMANCE DETERMINANTS ON ENGLISH SUBJECT DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC BY USING THE E-LEARNING PLATFORM

Dr. Rabha Hassan Hamed Alghatani; Dr. Ameen O Saleh Almanafi

Abstract: The urgent need by the government to find the reasons for the delay in the implementation of construction projects in Libya and the reasons for its delay began. So this study aimed to study the factors affecting the performance of projects in Libya. Despite its importance, it shows the poor performance of construction projects in Libya and its implementation, which made the research based on the most critical factors influencing the delay of projects, namely the public awareness and the efficient engineers, for performance testing. The study was verified using a research sample of 208 questionnaires. The study sample included civil engineers, architects, company owners, and managers of the management departments of implementing companies supervising the implementation of construction projects in the management of Libyan projects. The study has used the program SPSS in conducting statistical analysis to measure the relationships between the variables. This study has found that public awareness and the right location have a positive and significant impact on the performance of construction projects in Libya. The study recommends preparing an experienced team that will choose the right location for projects considering all risks before concluding the implementation contracts to improve the level of project performance.

THE IMPACT OF RISK DETERMINANT AND EFFICIENT ENGINEERS ON THE PERFORMANCE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS IN LIBYA
Ousama.J.Saleh; Dr. S. M. Ferdous Azam

Abstract:
This study aims to determine the impact of risk determinants and efficient engineers on the performance of construction projects in Libya. The current study has used the quantitative research approach. In the quantitative approach, the researchers used the questionnaire to collect the primary data from the research respondents. The population of the study was all the staff who work in the unlisted construction projects in Libya. The participants’ sample in the study was 245 samples. The SPSS was used to test the relationships between the independent variables and the dependent variable. This study found positive and significant relationships between (risk-determine and efficient-Engineers) and the performance of construction projects in Libya. It is necessary to constantly train and develop employees in the management of Libyan projects at different career levels to give them skills that improve their performance. Raising their abilities, and acquiring their information about project management, risks, and the reasons for delays, especially concerning priorities (the basics of project management, planning, organisation risk study, project financing, contract management accounting and cost control, feasibility study, time management) to raise the level of project performance.

POLITICAL RISK FACTORS AS DETERMINANTS OF FDI IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES: THE CASE OF IRAQ
Fatehiya Abdulridha; Dr. Nazimah Hussin

Abstract:
Foreign direct investment (FDI) has been identified as a key driver of economic growth and poverty alleviation, especially in developing countries. The increase in political risks, on the other hand, is a major reason for the fall in foreign investment in developing countries. Political risks are seen as the most significant risk to foreign direct investment in developing countries. The precise impact of political risk on FDI is not obvious from available literature; Current literature is fragmented and unmapped. Most previous research regards political risk variables as part of country risks; nevertheless, the focusing on specific political risk components is quite limited. Further, political risks as determinants of FDI explaining performance results at the firm level may differ in the same environment. Thus, more research is needed on political risk variables as drivers of FDI decisions at the firm level, particularly in developing nations. This article proposes eight political risk indicators as predictors of FDI in Iraq to fill this research gap. Investigating such FDI factors can assist in giving light to how some developing countries, such as Iraq, can attract more foreign investments.

DOES INNOVATION HAVE AN IMPACT ON ECONOMIC POLICY UNCERTAINTY? EVIDENCE FROM THE EMERGING MARKETS
Paul Usman; Kulo Issah Ibn Ali, Zafar Iqbal, Shafqat Nadeem, Irtaza Ishtiaq

Abstract:
This research aims to look at the influence of innovation on economic policy uncertainty in the growing Chinese economy. For data analysis, this study recommends using the autoregressive distributed lag model (ARDL). This research employed an annual time series data collection that spanned the years 2000 to 2019. With these statements, the outcomes of this study indicate that there is a long-term link between economic policy uncertainty and creativity. The autoregressive distributed lags (ARDL) model describes the long-term impact of policy uncertainty in a country on innovation and innovation techniques. The accounting findings show that there are short-run effects, but the long-run effects are more significant. To expand its investment portfolio, the Chinese government should pay attention to releasing policies for investors and providing equitable access to technology for both domestic and foreign investors.
